Mr. Nathan Henry Hart graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from The University of New Mexico in May of 2015. He enrolled in NC State’s graduate program in 2015 and is working to obtain his MS degree in NE with an eventual goal of a PhD. Mr. Hart’s research interests are in nuclear computational science, specifically with regards to radiation transport, and his graduate research topic is error analysis and error estimator evaluation. Mr. Hart had earned the Amigo Scholarship at UNM during his undergraduate career and is currently receiving support from a departmental merit based fellowship at NCSU. He has had the good fortune to intern at Sandia and Los Alamos National Laboratories, and hopes to one day return to New Mexico where his wife grew up.
